Visual Boy Advance (GBA)

VisualBoyAdvance is a free emulator software that can play Game Boy (GB), Game Boy Color (GBC), and Game Boy Advance (GBA) games. It can also handle the elusive games of the SNES console peripherals; Super Game Boy and Super Game Boy 2.

The original VBA was started by a developer under the alias "Forgotten". The project was then picked up by his brother who formed the official VBA Team. However, the development of the original VisualBoyAdvance stopped in 2004. Fortunately, new developers were able to successfully improve the project. The most notable improved forks are VisualBoyAdvance-M (VBA-M), and VisualBoyAdvanceLink (VBALink).

VisualBoyAdvance-Merge

VBA-M is an open-source GBC and GBA emulator that is currently the most advanced fork of the original VBA emulator. It merges together several forks into one codebase, while adding several features and keeping the emulator up-to-date.
