iDeaS (DS)

iDeaS was once a promising NDS emulator that was able to run a few commercial games during its time with reasonably fast fps. The emulator has a growing compatibility with each new release and can even run popular titles. Although it has some graphic glitches, the emulation quality develops really well with newer versions.

The earliest recorded version of iDeaS was v1.0.3.3 which was initially released to the public back on January 11, 2010, by its developer Actarus. Although it was rough along the edges, it was a proper NDS emulator that is capable of running a few commercial games. Unfortunately, after more than a year of development, the project was dropped for some unknown reason and the development stopped along with it.

The latest version of the emulator was released back in 2013. Version 1.0.4.0 supports a wide range of NDS functionality including a plugin system inspired by the N64 emulator UltraHLE.
