Cxbx-Reloaded is an open-source original Xbox (and Sega Chihiro) emulator exclusively for the Windows operating system with limited support for Android devices. It can also be played on Mac and Linux systems through the use of Wine (an acronym for "Wine Is Not an Emulator").
Developed by PatrickvL and Luke Usher, Cxbx-Reloaded is a fork of the original Cxbx. Development of this project began on April 1, 2016, and this fork has had a good development momentum since mid-2016. This software re-implements each of the Xbox's components so that the XBE files can run directly on Windows. As of October 2022, Cxbx-Reloaded doesn't have stable builds, but pre-release builds are available. This project supports only 16% of the Xbox's game library, that's around 160+ playable games. The number continues to rise as the project is still in active development.
The original Cxbx is a spin-off of Dxbx. Unfortunately, both attempts had a very low compatibility level. Cxbx-Reloaded brings back the Cxbx codebase and improves it to support more software along with many added features and extended compatibility, as well as faster emulation speed.
Cxbx-Reloaded Emulator download can be obtained free to play Xbox. Available for multiple platforms including Windows, Android and Source with fastest download speeds on EmulatorDownload.net. This Xbox Emulator (also known as Cxbx Reloaded) is in English and can run games online in high quality. Cxbx-Reloaded is developed by PatrickvL and Luke Usher.
