RetroArch (DS)

Go beyond the native 256x192 pixels as you play your favorite NDS titles on almost any platform and enjoy dozens of advanced features. RetroArch is a Libretro front-end that allows users to utilize various cores to play games, movies, programs, and music from all kinds of consoles and media players. As a Nintendo DS emulator, RetroArch uses the DeSmuME core that was developed by YopYop156.

Along with the cool features that came with the core such as the GPU Scaling Factor and higher resolution 3D rendering, RetroArch provides many added features over standalone emulators including cross-platform compatibility and support, ROM and save management, gamepad support, a clean desktop-like UI, and video lag reduction among many others.

Designed to be lightweight and portable, this open-source project is available on a wide range of platforms including Windows, macOS, Android, iOS, and even other gaming consoles like the GameCube, XboxOne, and the Nintendo Switch.
