This multi-system emulator is a Libretro frontend that allows users to emulate various gaming consoles like Game Boy, Sega Genesis, Famicom, and even the more modern devices like the PlayStation Portable by utilizing different Libretro Cores. Developed solely for the Android System, this open-source project is much lighter and simpler than other similar frontends like RetroArch. Developed by Swordfish90, Lemuroid is compatible with a wide range of Android devices including Android Smart TVs, modern gaming phones, and even lower-spec mobile phones. Unlike other similar apps and emulators, Lemuroid is completely free - contains no in-app purchases, and has no annoying ads.
