PCSX-Reloaded (PSX)

PCSX-Reloaded brings the once-popular PCSX emulator back to life with an added bang. It brings with it a nicer interface and several needed improvements to stability and functionality. PCSX-R provides all the basic functionality out of the box, so you can play your favorite PS1 without needing to go through the hassle of setting up.

This plugin-based emulator was created back in 2009 and is based on PCSX-df version 1.9. By using the capable internal HLE BIOS, PCSX-Reloaded features a high compatibility and stability rate - allowing the emulator to run many games without problems. In addition, this emulator uses the PSEMU plugin interface that combines convenience and function together.

Although development is no longer active, PCSX-Reloaded was once the best choice to play 3D games at higher resolutions, especially when using other visual enhancements. This emulator is still one of the best emulators available when playing on older systems that only support OpenGL.
