Atomulator (Acorn 8 bit)

Classic games are within your reach! Play titles like Galaxian and Chuckie Egg with Atomulator. As the name implies, Atomulator is an Acorn Atom emulator that is available for Windows, Linux, OSX, and Raspberry Pi.

This free, open-source emulator was first released back on August 15th, 2011, and features a built-in 6502 debugger, accurate sound emulation, and supports six PC formats for Atom software images (disk:, .dsk, .ssd, .fdi, .dsd, .euf, .csw, and cassette tape:). The emulator can emulate 12+16k Atom with a color board and disc pack. The program can also emulate BBC Basic mode and authentic Atom graphical "snow".

Unfortunately, Atomulator was last updated in July 2020, with the latest version being v1.30. The latest version has a video recording feature that is compatible with common media players such as the VLC media player and YouTube formats. The AtoMMC firmware was also updated to 2D and numerous emulation bugs were fixed for both Linux and Windows.
