Acorn Electron was a lower-priced alternative to the classic and more popular home computer called BBC-Micro, which was developed by the same company, Acorn Computers. Although limited, the Acorn Electron features some classic 8-bit games including various clones of the more popular games during its time such as Zalaga, a clone of Galaga. Elkulator is an open-source freeware emulator of the Acorn Electron computer for DOS and Windows, with a generic binary file available for the Linux systems. Elkulator can run all available games with cycle-accurate graphics and gameplay simulation.
