Developed by Tom Seddon, Model-B is a game emulator that was originally designed for playing BBC B and BBC B+ games on Windows systems. However, the emulator is reported to be able to handle Acorn 8-bit games just as well. The Model-B is very easy to use and has very high game compatibility. The emulator claims to be able to run all BBC games if not all of them.

The emulator has low system requirements of Pentium II, Windows '95, and DirectX 3. It also requires the PC to be able to run at least 800x600 resolution. If DirectX 8 or better is installed, the program will work smoother and will even provide support for joysticks and external controllers. Unfortunately, Development has halted since 2013 with the latest available version dating to 2004. The emulator was officially tested to work fine in Windows 7 and should be able to run on any modern PC.

The developer stated that he has not abandoned the project, but he only lacks the time to continue working on it.

For the source code and debug versions, you must download both the main file and the patch file to the same place and unzip them together.
