JEMU (Acorn 8 bit)

Rate Emulator

Are you looking to play the classic titles of the olden days? JEMU is an outstanding open-source application that can emulate Acorn 8-bit, BBC Micro games, and various old-school computer systems.

JEMU is an Open Source Java Application designed to emulate various computer systems. This emulator can run as an Applet within a browser with an architecture based on CPU and Device classes which allows individual devices to encapsulate in Java classes for re-use in other systems. The latest version of the program features a more accurate emulation, improved VZ-200 and VZ-300 renderer that can handle split-screen accurately, and more.

Unfortunately, JEMU (originally known as Java Emulation Platform) has not been updated since 2007. The last update from the original developer was about the work on Amstrad CPC emulation and proper sound driver emulation. As an open-source program, users are allowed to use, modify, or distribute the codes as they see fit, but giving credit to the original source is always a good practice.
