RetroArch (GB)

Revisit the popular retro titles void of colors as you play classic Game Boy games on your device with RetroArch multi-console emulator. Developed by Libretro Team, this open-source project allows the use of 'cores' to emulate a wide variety of consoles including media players, and classic handheld gaming consoles like the GameBoy.

RetroArch is available on a wide range of devices including Android, macOS, and even XboxOne and Switch consoles. This Libretro front-end features a stylish desktop-style interface that allows familiarity and flexibility. This project provides many additional advanced features on top of the features already available on the chosen Libretro core. Breathe new life to old games by utilizing this project's pixel shaders and advanced GPU shader support, and enjoy every pixel with the custom resolution that even supports wide-screen devices. 

Previously known as SSNES, RetroArch offers extended support for streaming and netplay, and even features save synchronization so you can continue your game save from your PC to your phone. There are dozens of Game Boy cores available (Higan, GearBoy, Emux GB, etc.), and each comes with its own features, compatibility, and accuracy.
